MSNBC recently published a list of 10 of the best cities for kids in urban areas, and here they are, along with a few cool places to visit

Finding the best cities for kids when you go on vacation takes a plenty of advanced kid_friendly_cityresearch. Most families like to go to remote areas like the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park and Niagara Falls, but there are plenty of urban vacation spots that can be fun and affordable for all families.

MSNBC recently published a list of 10 of the best cities for kids in urban areas, and here they are, along with a few cool places to visit:

  • San Diego, California – SeaWorld, Disneyland and LegoLand
  • Orlando, Florida – Universal Studios, Sea World and Busch Gardens Africa
  • Hampton Roads, Virginia -  Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens
  • New York City, New York – Bronx Zoo, Coney Island and Central Park
  • Hershey, Pennsylvania – Hershey Park and Gettysburg Battlefield
  • Chicago, Illinois – Wrigley Field, Sears Towers and John Hancock Building
  • San Francisco, California – Wild Animal Park and Chinatown
  • San Antonio, Texas – Six Flags Fiesta and River Walk
  • Washington, DC – National Zoo and the International Spy Museum
  • Las Vegas, Nevada – Blue Man Group

There are plenty of cities here in the U.S.  that can be the best cities to take your kids for vacation. If you happen to live by any of these, they’re definitely worth checking out.
